This
boat ran fine when I stored it 23 years ago.
I fogged the cylinders
when it was parked and it has lots of
compression and good spark.
It starts for a few
seconds when I jump it - coughs, then dies due
to I’m sure a dried out fuel pump diaphram in
the carb after sitting for 23 years.
If I rebuild the carb
and buy a new battery I’m going to want to ride
it for old times sake – so first it goes on the
market.
Back in the day
this was a bad ass 550 piston port boat. (at
least I thought so) It
still is if you want a clean retro stand-up for
cheap.
It's reliable, it
doesn’t leak, and the motors sound.
I would consider parting out if you want to
buy $600+ worth of parts, but as it is I want
$1200.00 OBO
